Jennifer Dorner
CEO/Pulmonary Practitioner

I have worked in the medical field for over 20 years; I have had the extensive experience treating many types of illnesses and injuries. I currently hold a license as a Pulmonary Practitioner. My experience includes: high risk deliveries, neonatal intensive care, adult intensive care, pulmonary care, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, pediatrics, and special procedures as well as emergency room traumas. I have had the privilege to study under and work alongside many of San Diego’s most renowned physicians. I enjoy attending many meetings and seminars to stay abreast on the latest studies and information available. I take an active part in the community educating the public about hyperbaric therapy.

A few examples are:

  • A great passion of mine is helping children. I was fortunate enough to be invited to speak at a T.A.C.A. (Talk About Curing Autism Now) meeting. I was able to inform the parents/grandparents and the public, the importance of hyperbaric therapy in the treatment of autism. CLICK HERE to view the slideshow.
  • A celebrity Lyme survivor, our facility and I were featured on Good Morning America, Discovery Health and our local News. They discussed the benefits of hyperbaric oxygen therapy and Lyme disease.
  • I am excited to finally mention that after a long selection process, San Diego Center for Hyperbaric Therapy was recently selected to be in a ground breaking TBI study (Traumatic Brain Injury).

The ability to help others is truly the most satisfying part of my job. Whether an adult or small child, I strive to help improve their quality of life and work very hard to provide excellent care for all my patients.

Kraig Dorner

Kraig Dorner, SEAL (Ret)
CFO/CHT/Safety Director

Over 20 years of diving experience.  As a U.S. Navy SEAL I went to the highest quality schools around the world and learned from the greatest.  So when my wife and I decided to open our hyperbaric facility, we did it with the best and the highest standards in mind.  Safety is our number one concern.  We traveled to many hyperbaric facilities in the United States and around the world and gathered a great deal of information before establishing our facility.

For the last four years of my career,  I was in charge of all the diving for the SEALs on the west coast.  As a diving Officer and a Diving Supervisor, I was responsible for planning the dives and was required to know what to do in case of an emergency.   I was trained to recognize the symptoms of diving related injuries such as oxygen toxicity, arterial gas embolism, DCS 1 & 2, the bends, and many more injuries.  I was required to know where the nearest hyperbaric chamber was located and how to operate it.

My qualifications as related to hyperbarics are:

  • US Navy SEAL
  • NSW Diving Officer
  • NSW Diving Supervisor
  • Diver Medical Technician
  • Hyperbaric Safety Director (International ATMO in San Antonio Texas)
  • Inspection, Maintenance of Hyperbaric Acrylic (ATMO)
  • Certified Hyperbaric Technician (CHT) Course at National Polytechnic College of Science
  • (PADI) Dive Master
